The Chena River House River Suite

The Chena River suite is a perfect place for a stay in Fairbanks. The property has a garage which is quite honestly one of the first times I have stayed in a place that was connected by a dedicated and warm parking space as I have mostly stayed at hotels during my travels. The kitchen was well stocked with snacks, oatmeal, cup noodles, coffee and kitchen staples as well as anything you need to cook such as spices, oil, etc. The place also had a clean washer and dryer, clean full bathroom with some storage and beautifully lit shower, clean towels, fresh bedding. The living room portion and the bedroom had awesome views of the Chena river and was very peaceful. Tera, the host was also awesome and she had a guide she had sent before our stay along with many informative items such as rules of the river suite, places to eat, sights, etc. She was also very responsive and a very nice host! I know where I'll look to stay the next time I visit Fairbanks!

Very well equipped and comfortable place. Great to have a garage and with a week or so on the road, nice to have a washer and dryer available! Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Everything was immaculate - counter tops, appliances, sinks, bathroom, etc. Well stocked with all cooking appliances, utensils and anything you may need for meal prep. Choice of keurig coffees, spices, snacks, condiments and laundry supplies. Gorgeous shower and soft towels. Comfortable bed with soft linens. Great to sit on patio and watch the river flow or the boats going up and down the river. Host responds quickly and provides easy check in instructions before arrival. This is the best place we have ever stayed.
